Anne Tichborne's scrap book : [Commonplace book], 1822 and later.

Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of about 80 primarily sentimental entries in prose and verse by various authors as well as original poems by and for family and friends, on such subjects as marriage, parting, and time. Several of the poems are signed by E. A. T., the initials of Elizabeth Anne Tichborne, the compiler's daughter, including Lines sent to the seven Miss Tichbornes, dated February 23, 1827. Many of the remaining poems are by Lord Strangford and Lord Nugent; other authors include George Byron and Caroline Lamb.

Anne (Burke) Tichborne was the daughter of Sir Thomas Burke, 1st Bt. and Christian Browne. She married Sir Henry Joseph Tichbourne, 8th Bt. on April 23, 1806. She had four daughters, including one, Elizabeth, also known as Eliza Anne, who married Joseph-Thaddeus Dormer, 11th Baron Dormer, in 1829. Anne Tichborne died on August 12, 1853.
